We've finished putting our sub woofer together and have no use for one of the early test bed cabinets that I constructed.
It's built from 25mm MDF braced internally at the corners but measuring in at 40cm[d] x 40cm[w] x 50cm[h] is quite rigid. There are cut-outs for driver and amp module, though with some deft routeing you could blank the hole / holes with 25mm MDF and cut out your own sizes. Currently it will accommodate a 12" [305mm] amp panel [Keiga KGND 52100] and a 12" driver [Shadow Works - Titan, Phantom, Bronze, Genesis] with cut-out 282mm and rebate 322mm It could possibly be finished with a bit of elbow grease and some TLC. This gives you an idea of what the initial design was to look like using this cabinet.

Many thanks, it's been a long road but the results both sonically and visually exceeded our expectations by some margin ! I will hopefully have some proffesional photos done soon to post. |
