i am running the Dayton 15" DVC in a 4.8 cu ft well braced enclosure with a full length 4" dual flared Precision port (17") length i think. since this enclosure is on the small side anyway, could i maybe gain some performance using the Dayton 15" PR instead of using the port for tuning? if so, any reccomendations on a good tuning point and, about how many grams of weight i would need to add to the PR? as i've never used one before Thanks for any advice! :)

Probably not if you don't notice any vent 'chuffing'. Frankly, at this acoustically small size I'd experiment with damping the vent or even turning it into a sealed alignment.

PRs work best on cabs that calc a silly long/large vent to get a low vent mach.
