James has a cool site, link abve. His Single Driver Website is a mine of info, and Links are avaiable to other sites, many horn related.

If you want hi fi, James is your best bet. If you want PA, try Eminence, JBL do a search for a Labhorn. That thing looks okayish.

The thing looks a little bit like a copy of an old EV design:

It looks similar to the tapped horn, but I suspect it was a standard scoop bass bin compressed in size, so the driver had to go on the sloping baffle in the mouth. At a quick guestimate, You'll get plenty of 50Hz and up, but not much lower than that.

Thumbs up Doc wants a scoop in his car

Cor, mad. I did an Eminence 12" scoop bin with the wrong driver in it. Via a lowpass and some boost, can' t remember what, had some good spl and had to be good for transient Kick drum was good. Get some spotty teenager look at you in his souped up red striped coupe turbo, and give him a dose of Hooked on Classics. Get some looks.

But, I couldn't deal with the honky bass I got, gave me ears grief, and when you got a small hatch and 3 kids, shopping ends up all over the car usually under the kids feet.

Would try again, if I had a PA driver anyday.
