..Just out of curiosity. These seem very nice indeed, and model perfectly with my current drivers of interest (50 cubic feet for two of them though!). I'm guessing USD $600-$850+? Any idea where to get them?? I've been aware of these drivers for quite some time now, but I don't recall ever seeing them sold anywhere.
Thanks, Brandin |

Actually, I take that back...about 30 cubes at 24Hz for 2 of them. Even better.

Hi Brandin,
The McCauley drivers are very nice, based on the one I've ever seen down here. Have you emailled McCauley? I shot off a tech question a couple of years back and got a helpful answer. For sales, I'm sure they'd be keen to give a list of distributors. http://www.mccauleysound.com/dealer_locator.cfm When you call, sound like you're a tech from a pro audio firm, not a DIYer. However, if you have the loftspace, a larger number of cheaper drivers, for roughly yhe came cost in an infinite baffle may offer a better solution. |
