ADA1200 Application Query

I have had the ADA1200 for some time, intending to use it with my Avalanche 18. As is unlikely that I will proceed with that project, would it be unwise to use it with my work in progress Peerless 12" XLS/Dual PR sub? I will keep the gain turned down... saves buying another plate amp....

Hi Bruce,

Another woofer in the works? Good news.

I see no reason why you couldn't use it. Big amps are better than small amps.

I have some new things for you to look at. We should get together in a couple weeks when the rest arrives. Great big stuff to go with the other great big stuff.

I shall get in touch with you in a few weeks then Cal.

With any luck, my new subwoofer will be done by then. I am now working on my HT room, finishing the sound insulation, and then on to the wainscotting/drywall/paint. All that is left speaker-wise is to build the mains/centre channel, pick a side/rear surroud design, build them..........
