Hello!
Summer is coming and i have some free time, so I was thinking that I'd build a subwoofer. I was looking something cheap and good for its price. I found this: http://www.velleman.be/be/en/product/view/?id=368700# I think it might be just what I need - best bang for a buck, because it costs only ~50 Euros. There is only one problem: there isn't much info about it so I don't know how big should be the speaker box. There are some graphics for the speaker, but i don't really know what to do with the parameters. What do you suggest for a box? Thanks, Likoor. |

I have done some research and found out, that this speaker is similar to Eminence Alpha 15. I has quite high QTS, so vented box isn't good.
What do you think of a ~113 liter closed box, the F3 should be ~50Hz then? It would be 50cm*50cm*45cm or is it too cube shaped? How thick should be the front panel? Is 2,5cm enough? Any more ideas. Thanks. |
