Hello. I've been visiting the Adire website from time to time and their Tumult webpage does not seem to allow for the viewing of the PDF file(s) which would provide the T/S params.
Nor do any of their other drivers' web pages for that matter! The mouse cursor does not change when hovering over what should be the PDF file links. I even sent them a message notifying them of the problem.Does anyone have a link to a definitive site/page that will provide me with Adire Audio values? My intention is to build some sealed enclosures (Qts 0.707 flat) for two Tumult 12" drivers to see how they will sound in my 98 Jeep GC. After a lot of time modifying the Basslink combo response, I cannot seem to get enough accuracy for my taste. They're currently mounted vertically, up against the rear bench seat, firing towards the hatchback, to help eliminate any rear-wave passive radiator emissions. I prefer accuracy and deepness...then loudness if the price is still attainable! That's why I'm shooting for two Tumults in sealed enclosures as my new starting point. The Basslinks are really good but I'm ready for the next level... Thanks for any help! Joe |

Good point there. That is the website I saw a few weeks ago when trying to get those T/S parameters from any place I could find. I thought they were just backordered but now I think something else is up, heh.
Did Adire go under or get bought? Thanks again for any info. |

Greets!
Dunno, I've 'heard' various rumors, but nothing I'm confident of enough to pass along. All I know is that they have a long history of delivery problems and apparently everything they've done to improve turns sour for whatever reason. Might want to consider these if the Tumult's not available: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/shop/p...products_id=32 GM

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely check it out!
Also, your "Loud is Beautiful if it's Clean!" signature is most excellent. I've heard (or rather ENDURED) too many systems that are one tone only - loud and annoying... Believe me, when a system is both loud and accurate, I'm in awe that the owner did a proper job. My two bits... |
