My first attempt at speaker building so Comments and criticisms are very welcome.
BK-Monolith Driver in 77L cabinet tuned to 20Hz. Sounds fantastic and really low and loud, I don't have a measuring system but I've fed single note frequencies to it and keeps up pretty well by ear down to below 20Hz. Port noise is a bit of a problem but only below 25Hz, I should have used a larger diametre but I had this one lying around. I decided to make it downward firing because it seemed to lessen the audibe port noise.

View from below, finished.
Amp is in a sepatrate box which has yet to be painted. I'm pretty happy with it for now but I may build a slightly larger box with a bigger port later in the year. And maybe add another Monolith driver just for fun!

Looks like fun, That BW driver's basket has a striking resemblence to the Eminence Lab 12 basket.

it does look nice
i will make one some time and use the same drivers as it seems to be one of the best uk anyway fair few people talk about it and cheap for what it can do. just i either goto put it under the bed what i can fit about 13inch high i think or some where else a 10 can fit but i guess this is going to be to big cos the sub 12inch will have to think about it........ nice job anyway does ur box vibrate at all....... i have 500rms bk amp and a 10inch 300rms sub is loud so the 12 lol going to be good will run that sub easy |

lol mine does on the lower notes like below 25 but it is a slot port with no bracing other than thew long port and no sound damp
just why i was asking |
