Someone wrote this in another CCS thread. I have heard of this before.
"Those are somewhat at odds. I have read references on this forum and AA that Gary Pimm's hybrid CCS is the cat's meow, but it takes some effort to implement. His MOSFET CCS is again very well respected, but it is more complex than those circuits you listed." Does anyone have a schematic or article. ? Thanks |

Actually that is quite interesting to see MOSFET CCS's although they have higher noise levels than junction FETs.
You should be able to get away with an RC filter in common gate mode I think. Supertex make some great mosfets. I used to have a link to a website that had CCS's that were battery powered. They showed impedance plots etc. Unfortunately I have lost. I think it was mostly for tube stuff though. |
