Got a few Soundcraftsmen (vintage) amps in need of what I hope are minor repairs: 5002 and Pro Power 10.
On the 5002, the protect light stays illuminated while the LED's blink several times on each channel then alternate channels. The Pro Power was diagnosed with a short in the audio output circuit and problem with the preamp stage (all for only one of the 4 channels). Looking for someone in Southern CA, preferably Orange County, to repair the amps, got one quote for the Pro Power of over $300, most of which was labor. |

Sounds very high. I had a bad channel in my MA5002A, two output devices were bad and it only cost me $190, but I live in Indiana...
