I am considering using the NE5532 in an upcoming project. Are the DC specs of this guy of any importance in audio? Do I need to match impedances that the inputs see to prevent offset problems? Is there a resource I can read/surf that tells me this kind of stuff? I would like to use 5532's since they are cheap and perform very well supposedly if used right. Thank you for any help!

Download "Op Amp Applications" from the Analog website. All you ever wanted to know about op amps.
