Default JLH Guitar Amp

Has anyone made a hybrid gutar amp using tubes for the preamp and JLH in he output. I recently aquired a working JLH 25 watt power amp and hooked it up to a Deluxe preamp and it sounded pretty good.

Just as a matter of interest in the UK publication "Electronics World and Wirelss World" August 1997 JLH did a transitor driven valve amp'.
