Once in a while in a transient peak, I get a loud pop output.
It does not sound like clipping, just that loud POP. What should I look for? Otherwise the amp sounds great. I have tried other speakers, same problem. It does not light up the clipping LED when it happens. Anyone got a good guess? Thanks! |

It is also possible that you have a cold solder joint somewhere, but Adcom amps are not frequently known to suffer from these, with the possible exception of areas where components get hot. Do check R109 and R159: these 22.1K resistors are being operated right at their power limit...best to replace with 1/2W parts. |

Thanks for the "guess"!
I will try to load it up and squirt the transistors with the spray! I really wish I had better test equipment... |
