Say I have an active crossover board with 9 dual op-amps. How much output current capability should I look for in a voltage regulator assuming I'm supplying +/- 12V rails to the opamps? Thanks,
Mark
You have not told us what OP amps?
-----------------
20 mA per OP amp, would be enough for most any Devices.
9x20= 0.18A
Say you have Regulator that can put out 0.5 Ampere.
That would be REALLY enough!

It is good to have a margin, if you want to put some more into your circuit, later.

LM317/LM337 can put out 1.5A.
Can be a good and low cost alternative for you.

/halo - a great LM317 admirerer
