Has anyone tried to do a clone of a Naim amplifier like the highly regarded Nap140 or Nap250?? I beleive they use pretty baisc designs.

Thanks for the links guys. Im surprised there isnt more interest in a DIY version of some fo the Naim amps and pre-amps. They sound really ood and look to be very simple designs. Probably could build something like the Nap140 for very little money. Its pretty amazing the great sound they get from these amps, I mean they use tantalum caps in the signal path!

Have a look at avondale too, they sell circuit boards for a revised version of the circuit (originally a 60s or 70s design by RCA)
