How many of you combine your 2 channel preamp and your home theater processor in one system?
I'm looking for a way to switch between my two preamps "conveniently" without switching cables all the time. I'm afraid I'm going to ruin my rca jacks soon from so much switching. I tried using an old Radio shack input switcher which by the looks of things seems pretty simple... it worked but it did audibly muck up the sound for my two channel pre. Are there any diy options I could try for this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Dave. |

Unless you have provisions for line-in/line-out.It may not be feesible. I solved the problem by setting up two systems-Home theater upstairs and full blown stereo downstairs.
