many other kind movements to cooperate. Sorry.... taste is something very personnal... i also do not think Robson Fulco panel was fine....i just could see he loves the brand and have painted on it...was fine...much appreciated..not because sthetics..but because the brand name appreciation and kindness to put it there. This one seems an elefant..with the big nose down...you see..this wakes up in myself my own revolution against my own weigth....no fat guy is happy to be alike an elefant...your Dx logo is fat in shape..has big belly...looks alike an elefant..and the one is not very heróic with that long nose down. Something more UP....more courageous...less fat, will be more interesting. Of course i thank you very much..people can do the way they want, with the shape they want..for a while..as we do not have an elected logo. Your intention was great.... and i repeat.... despite not have appreciated the baby elefant..i think was very, very, very kind from you. Here you see the way i see..... projection of my own feelings about my weigth... and the shape gave me that chance...something that will not let to project my own sufferings will be better to me. regards, Carlos

a macho!... you know what i mean..... something young and strong alike Dx amplifiers are.... reliable, massive and something resistant...thick lines... agressive thing may be better. See this one.... the same idea..but less fat..more agressive...more ready to figth with the arms pointing up...the ache, the spade... saw.... knife... ready to figth..pointing the skies...pointing heaven...up movement! regards, Carlos .................................................. .............................................. Even this one is not something i like.... Trust too much big compared to the Dx Brand...letters near one each other and this confuses when we look distant... seems fat and no agressive enougth... too much shy.

That's just weird thinking. There's nothing in there about elephant trunks or fat people or arms ready to fight. Those are just in your mind. Embrace it. It's a professionally designed logo. Nothing that will win awards since I only spent about 15 minutes on it, but I've probably designed more corporate identification packages (logos etc) than you have built amplifiers. An important concept in design is balance, or center of gravity. Every item, from full pages to individual letters in a font must look like they are are balanced, will not fall over or collapse on one side because it is not properly supported. Like human bodies; legs are heavier becuase they provide support, arms are thinner because they do not support body weight. They point to the skies and carry knives. We are well balanced, no chicken legs and fat arms like your version of the logo. Graphics must follow those rules too, or they will look unbalanced.Free logos are not negotiable. Feel free to ignore it, or even tell people not to use it. Your choice. ..Todd |

Okay maybe this version will take your mind off the elephant trunks. I've added some nice Brazilian flag diamonds adding some power and elegance. Both are DX amplifier traits.

This is not too much interesting... uncle Charlie do not know how to disconnect imagination... i have searched but found no switch for that purpose. But thank you by your goodwill to propose some dear Taj.... i cannot make them...i can imagine thousands of things, but i am unable to put them on paper. Baby elefant ones not interesting to uncle..sorry for that....lower trunk is not acceptable .. also not interesting the quadratic profile.. as nice panels (i think) are rectangular. As there's no official logo, then people can use whatever they want... the important is to build amplifiers and to enjoy to be listening something they have made with their own hands. Igreen can use DXIgreen. regards, be happy. Carlos

and i found interesting.... destroyers... and simple letters that can be red or other colour. So... use it...letters only into the panel.... not so big....use it small... 20 times smaller than the Aspen brand Hugh made into his panel (i do not like ) regards, Carlos

ready. Carlos .......................................... Aspen logo is much more readable.... it is a live advertising all time long. But this is not something that i want into my amplifiers... i like the most the small marks...more elegant.

look. But those things are really very personal..depends on "intention"...the "purpose"...maybe to be readable, or to be an advertising, or to memorize a brand into folks mind....to be readable at a listening distance...to to be readable at bigger distance than that or "not to be easy readable" Depends on people culture, world place..colour preference... logo and panel colour combination and a lot of other things. Here, as DIYers, we gonna try to be simple... doing something with discretion, class, elegance .. something not showy, not attractive, not arrogant . regards, Carlos

and living into my best dreams. them i will produce metal medals....to be attached into the front panel...left positioned...rectangular.... around 4 centimeters length.... having a typical medal characteristic.... or... a gray silk screen to contrast into white and black panels. There will be the customer name printed and date. Then no more simple... then sophisticated with teflon condensers. ahahahahah! regards, Carlos

Hmm... I wonder how Freud would interpret your down-pointing Elephant trunk concerns.
