3kva transformer in uk

Hi all
I’ve searched the forums and couldn’t find anything. I am building a Amplifier for P.A use (i'm fed up with my cheap amps letting me down) I am using two AV1000 modules its going ok apart from I am struggling to find a 75 volt 3kva torodial transformer supplier in the uk anyone have any ideas?

Carnhill Transformers (http://www.carnhill.co.uk) manufacture high quality audio toroids up to 2.5kVA they have a factory about 8 miles from where I live almost went for a job there! You will be looking at a lot of £££ if you only want 1 though!

Thanks for the reply ile give em a ring but i think 2.5 kva is still a bit too small is it possible to use 2 off 1.5 kva 75 volt transformers in parallel?

Hi,
pity 55Vac (110Vac centre tapped) is too low, site transformers are fairly cheap.

if you have two modules and are considering two transformers, why not just take the next logical step of going for dual mono instead of paralleling them? that'll be something the amps you're replacing certainly won't have.
