I think it would have had a tinny sound. Perhaps stereo pears would have sounded better.

Alex,
Do you have a part number for those board mount spade connectors. I have searched both Digikey and Mouser and cannot find them. I believe it is imply because i dont know their technical name.

BTW, has this SARA AMPLIFIER been discussed in this forum or only on its original thread on elforum.ro?
