I bet they're there because of the slim chassis, it is easier to fit some small caps rather than a bigger one.

Nope, lateral 2sj162/2sk1058 dual pair mosfets. Sounds superb !!

It falls into solid state category and I finally decided to share these photos. Maybe someone will be inspired by elegant shape and rich color scheme.
Nothing special, it is just modest 100 watt subwoofer amplifier. The only interesting thing here is the 3 position power switch. Amp can be enabled by remote signal from main amplifier. Due opto-triac and power relay there’s no any power consumption in “standby mode”.
