Is that a key to switch it on ? What is it anyway ?
Pyramid-V prototype. 2x80W nominal, Russian military tubes. MOSFET voltage regulators for filaments, screen grids, pre amp. This is a concert version, with grill top and TRS ins/outs. 0 dB input, outputs: 4, 8, 16 Ohm. Transformers custom made by EDCOR USA for 20 Hz - 20 kHz on full power.
Studio monitor version has a rack mount face plate; home stereo version has banana and RCA sockets.
The switch is for safety purposes.

Thanks Karl!
It sounds really nice as well; now it works in my living room playing music through phased arrays made for concerts. I forgot to mention, it has a proprietary anti-clipping network with optical compressors. Ever clean sound.
hello!
nice to see a good place.
my amp is very simple, and gives good results.
it works 24/24 everydays since 3 years now.

no way.
supply is +/-17V serial regulation, up to +/-18V for IC, up to +/-26V from transformer.
Rload is 4ohms
then, p = (16/sqr(2))² / 4 = 32 Watts RMS
if i use it in full bridge configuration, it will output many more.
p = (32/sqr(2))² / 4 = 128 Watts RMS
with only few common components.
the secret is in the power supply.
current limit, perfect regulation, what is 100HZ? i don't know.
4 big condos.

pirej:
i don't draw the power supply because it is too hard, and i have it in a harddrive somewhere.
power supply:
2 * 17 V
current limit 2 * 6 A

6 output transistors = 100W Nice!!!
Do you have schematic of this Amp, PCB?
