Post your Solid State pics here

Poor man OPS and IPS is running, IPS is only 35mm x 60mm. Overal amp performance is really good.

Thumbs UP for OS!!!

You like that "supercharged" harmon kardon OPS , huh ! I see you made
a "baby" CFA (X).
There are a lot of those out there (maybe as many as vssa ??) :D

PS - see the nice overload behavior - "kypton C"(cfa) has almost "rounded"
better clipping - like a valve.
I don't play around !

Thanks OS

I really like it !!
It is saving a lot of time, really massive amout time is saved with this aproach. I will have to fine tune the temp compensation (which is working really quick !!). I have used predrivers with hfe around 280, sanken drivers hfe=300 and NJW0xxx with hfe=110 so the current gain is massive.
Mr Self magic resistor is working fine too.

I have made IPS from my last small project (I like it a lot).
Now I am preparing CFP OPS with 2 pairs of outputs, I do not know and can not explain why but it was sounding very very good with CFP output (with 20mA bias only).

Nice work!

How much compensation did you need in the output driver stage (C7,C8)?

Thanks.
I haven't made the board yet, I hope by the end of the week I will know.
With my previous CFP-Mad amp I have used 22pF, I think that 10pF would be sufficent enough, the config was 2sc5200/2sa1943 and drivers were bd139/140 -16. With 22pF it was rock stable.
In the new board I have made a room for degeneration resistors in CFP stage so it should help a bit.

Gentlemen, I would like and show you a picture of my current SYMASYM-build.

Most of the parts that you can see on the attached pictures are "DIYed".

The case has been built by my carpenter-friend Gerhard.

The SYMASYM-integrated-amplifier consists of:

- two DUAL-Mono SYMASYM Black (Green!) - Beauty SYMASYM-PCBs
- Mains Schaffner-filter being followed by a mains-DC-filter and Soft-Power-On
- 4 x 25 VAC torroid transformer rated at 400VAC
- My VCPRe (doing the source selection, attenuation (via LDRs), .....)
- Every functionality can be controlled via a IRC - unit

This build is using the small SANKEN TO3-P output transistors 2SC3263/2SA1294, and the "Allegro-SANKENs" play "like a divine".

I am currently thinking about which INTERNET-interface to add to this amplifier to be able to listen to INTERNET-radio and which DAC and Multimedia-player-software to add to be able to listen to my 1TB of my ripped CDs.

Best regards - Rudi_Ratlos
