The Arcam FMJ is a strange 2100$ "beast". First one that I have seen with the SAP15n/P
Sanken OP (below 1).

Also uses a TL072 input stage w/ CM VAS (below 2).
OPS devices are darlingtons + bias diodes + thick film Re.

Hope Sanken keeps making them :D (almost a "module").

At least I got the schema ,Good circuit for op-amp/darlington
(but will I ever see a SAP?)
OS

Finished my odd Class A Amp

After my last attempt (The Red Beast based on Rod Elliot’s P3A) I thought I build a small Class A to match my DIY speakers. It is a simple design, putting out roughly 17 Watts.
Power Supply is a capacitance multiplier of the Rod Elliot web site.
It does sound very clean when playing through the big Vaf Speakers, more precise then my Earl Weston Trinity Valve Amp. Playing it through my full range Fostex 126en Metronome speakers it is lacking the lower ends as one would expect. (might have to build a another pair).

Well, here you go....

spare/salvages parts amp

This is something I built in about 3 days with parts I had lying around.
Bottom plate is 13" x 13" 1/8 thick aluminium and front and back is just 1/6 thick. Amplifier channels are Ljm L10's with an extra set of 5200/1943 per side. Class A soft start, 2 x 13000uF 63V caps and a 50amp rectifier. The transformer was scrapped from an old APS 1500va UPS which I stripped and re wound to 40-0-40 Ac.
A quick test gave me 32V AC into a 2 ohm load at 60hz for about 30 seconds (need better heat sinks)
I have a bit more to do on it, better heat sinking, building a top cover and installing a 5 led volume meter.
