Hallo,
I need to repair my friends amplifier. It's a Kenwood KA-5040R. Problem is that I don't have the schematic. Anybody who could help me to get the schematic please? Thanks on advance, Briek.

what does it do, what doesn't it do.
no sound. . .check power supply; then the output transistors. You will need the schematics, but that should get your feet wet. |

hello gni,
thank you for your reply. The problem with the amplifier is that my friend started himself to repair it. There was a problem with the DC-protection. Then he searched on the net for possible solutions and found some things. Then he replaced the suggested components and from then on the fuses blow and one outputtransistor is shorted. The problem is that I am not sure that he replaced the components correct. So I think that I will need a schematic to check some things. I hate it when they try to repair it themself and when that does'nt work then thy ask it to you. You know what I mean? For the moment I try to get the schematic, when I have the schematic I think that it is possible to fix it. If you do have some tips, feel free to mail them. Thanks for your kindness, Briek |
