Hi, a friend on mine said that he can run his Classe CM 400 mono power amplifier on a 1.5 Ohm load without over heating. Would like to know if this kind of amplifier have any protective device at the output to protect it against over load.
At pretty high volume for a long period of time, only 3 amps of current. Is this protectice device could limit the output current. Thanks |

Classe Audio uses output overload, DC offset, clipping, abnormal line voltage, and excessive temperature protection in their Delta series.

I want one of those. Rated output 800 watts output, rated
consumption 480 watts. Pays for itself in no time. |
