Hi, a friend on mine said that he can run his Classe CM 400 mono power amplifier on a 1.5 Ohm load without over heating. Would like to know if this kind of amplifier have any protective device at the output to protect it against over load.
At pretty high volume for a long period of time, only 3 amps of current.
Is this protectice device could limit the output current.
Thanks

Classe Audio uses output overload, DC offset, clipping, abnormal line voltage, and excessive temperature protection in their Delta series.
