Thanks, I found out that BC compnenets makes those 47uf blue axial Philips caps, so I can replace with the origional parts:) There are also bunch of radial lead Philips caps 10uf and 47uf. They are light blue but not metalic looking like the Axial caps. I wonder if BC makes a replacement for these?? Or should I just go with something like Silmic or Muse?? I was also wondering if it would be worth upgrading the 4 1n4004 diodes that make up the rectifiers bridge for the pre section with fast diodes like the UF4004??? And one other thing, there are a bunch of small pf size styrene film caps in the signal path, these wre onsidered the best years ago, is there anything better out now???
thanks
Frank
