What are some good amps that give high performance for the price?
Obviously chipamps have a killer price performance ratio. Class D also seems to be a bargain for the price (especially the 41 Hz kits). I realize this is very subjective, both in the price category (different builds of the same amp can vary widely in price) and in the performance category. But what DiY amplifiers do you feel are good values for what it costs to build them? I'm talking total cost here, including chassis, power supply, heatsinks and hardware, not just the amp circuit itself. |
