Crest 7001 schematics

Does anyone have any schematics for the Crest audio 7001 amp or where I could find them. I requested some from Crest but they haven't sent tem yet. Thanks Ern

Here is the 8000, about the same (a few more outputs and a bit higher voltage is all).

Don't know about the 7001, but Crest 8001 is designed Bob Cordell, which is a member here.

Tommy O'Brien and Bennett were the designers of Crest Pro series amps....

Thanks djk and imix500, I really appreciate the help. Their are some really knowlegable techs on this website. I wamt to send the schematics along with my amp to have it repaired. Do you guys know any techs in California who can repair these amps? My local repair shop wasn't able to find anything wrong with my Crest. I really want to take it to a knowlegable tech. Have you guys heard of AudioSpecialist.com I was thinking about sending them the amp since they are close by. Thanks Ern

Son, I suggest you check your other thread if you haven't done so yet. I have found the problem and it lies in the gain structure difference. There is no need to send the amplifier away for evaluation.

Purchase a DA or have a technician build a pad for the BGW if you are using it with the Crest amplifier. The cost of a DA will equal what you will spend shipping the amplifier off.
