Default help with replacing my transistor on my Electrocompaniet

Good evening to everybody!

i need your help!
The transistors (driver and output stage) on my elecctrocompaniet ECI-4, just burned last week.

Up till now the only way to find out what happened is to check the board for short circuit (thing that i did) and.... for the fact that a feedback network is applied and so then is no any longer possible to evaluate the circuit unless all the parts are replaced...and then from that....trying to undersupply the stage and search the problem.

(If anybody wants to give suggestions i accept them!)

The components that i need are:

- complemantary motorola MJL 3221 and MJL 1302

- ( i think those are toshiba, but i'm not sure...i cannot say from the pakage...there no name...augh)
A 1350 Y and C3421 Y

- BD 679 (on the package i foung the mark ST MRC.... is it the trademark of STMicroelectronics?)

i would need a selected complementary transistor since those bjt are feeding a push-pull output stage and a phase splitter stage rispectively.

I would like to know, if anybody knows where i can find those selected couple on internet (and also the bd679 of course ) for a good price.

If the selected couple are really that expencive, is it convenient for me to select on my own or it's definitely better to buy just the couple selected by the companies?

thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Stefano.

I believe you need to place a 2S in front of those part numbers ie. 2SA1350 and 2SC3421

"complemantary motorola MJL 3221 and MJL 1302"

That would be MJL 3281 and 1302. Standard distributor parts.

right---- mjl3281..... i jusr screwd up!!

About the 2sa and 2sc.....i know.... i just wrote what was reported on the pakage.

I was just wondering where you guys buy those parts on the net.
Since i never purchased anything, i don't know where to find those transistors for a good price and especially not in stock.....i don't need 25 pieces so...!
Plus would be great to have a selected pair....and i guess i don't know if it's convenient or not.

Can anybody give me some good link where to get those parts?

Have you a schematic of this amplifier? However, if I've guess the schematic, you don't need any kind of "selected" components but just normal components of the same manufacturer and from the same batch (usually devisable from the marking codes on package other than the main signature of device).

what is a batch?
could you write to me in italian (in private)?
Anyways i still don't have any link where to buy those parts.
Anyways the selected componets are needed because the motorola are placed on output push-pull stage and...as far as i know...the complementary at that point is a must.

For the other parts they would be used in the phase splitter for the p-p output stage.

i don't know where to buy those parts...that's the deal!!!

what are the best websites where to get those parts for cheap price?
Plus how can i know the branch of the 2sa and 2sc? there's no mark on the pakage! i don't know if they are toshiba or whatever.

can anybody help me to find some dealer for those parts?
I don't have clue!
please help...
