Default Nakamichi 400 Series Scheamtics???

My brother has a Nakamichi 410, 420 & 430. I believe these things are from the '70s. Naturally they need a little work. Does anyone have any info, service manuals or schematics?
Thanks

They shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Work carefully and take pictures before you start!

Yep, The initial problem is, the pre has a bad dual volume pot... And, the Tuner never realy tuned good...
Nothing major yet... But it did not sound as good as I expected on his little Alessi Monitors???

Hi flg,
It may be the small monitors.

The build quality on those Naks should be pretty good. Given the age of them, have a good look at the power supplies and coupling caps. Replace the preamp's ceramic caps with mica, and the audio path of the Tuner if there are any in there.

Test on some bigger speakers that you are familiar with.

Hi flg,
Tweaking tuner alignment is a pro's job with special equipment not found in your average shop. That's off limits.

Coupling caps are not expensive. You want to use a good type, not a name brand.
