Check out the OPA827 op-amp = JFET input with 4.5 nanoVolt noise, split rail supply to +/- 18 VDC ... seems ideal as a input front end to power amps, balanced (XRL) to unbalanced (RCA) converter, active filters or EQ, A/D driver &/or DAC output buffer ... ( two channel, 8-pin = OPA2827 , although I would stick to the '827 for best CMRR between channels ) ( http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/opa827.html [check out all those software tools at bottom of page!]... http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/opa827.pdf ... this stuff keeps getting better and better ... )
