I think you would have much better results building a LM388X gainclone or perhaps even better this amp! Are you restricted to the small rail voltage supply? If not you could build something better that remains in a small footprint with ready available artwork to etch your own PCB's?

Hi

As the amplifier is a simple one why not hard wire the components together as shown in the schematic. That way you would not need a pcb.
If you do hardwire the components together do connect all the grounds of one channel to one point as mentioned in the notes and then connect that one point to the central ground point on the power supply.
Also as mentioned in the notes some of the components need to be connected to a heatsink.

Try building something.
