Hi!

I am looking for a LED driver chip. The most common is the LM3916, but it's a rather old design, not even having an SMD version.

Mackie uses a chip called LB1482M, that is dual, but I can't seem to find who is the manufacturer.

Are there any others you know? Any clue on who makes tha 1428 chip?

SMD might not be practical because of the power the chip dissipates. Do you need an SMD package?
