Hey im taking an electronics engineering course at college and i'm really interested in it. I play guitar as a hobby so i thought why not try and build a guitar amp because as a student i can't afford the astronomical prices companies charge. I'm sorry if there's already a thread about this but i was wondering if anyone could post links to easy projects, the amp doesn't have to be loud since i live in a townhouse, thanks for your help.

Try Elliot Sound Products. Some good circuits and some good articles. I'm not an electrical engineer and found this site to be invaluable.
