Default big power amp

Hi all. I have a Bose chassis that someone has lost the heatsinks and amp boards out of - probably took them out to repair and lost them. There are two massive power supplies still inside that give +/- 80v. I'd like to use the chassis to build a new power amp. I have a circuit diagram for a power amp rated at 350w but it only uses +/- 70v. Is there a way of stepping down the voltage or does anyone know of a circuit that will run off 80v.

cheers

Nick

It might be possible to tweak your schematic so it can run on +/-80V.
I’m no expert but posting the diagram will get the attention of the smarter guys.

Yes post the circuit. Most are fairly easy to beef up 10-20%.

OK, will do. But you'll have to leave it with me. I took the mag with the diag to my local newsagent for the details so that he could order it each month for me and he's lost it so I'm going to have to get another copy.

Quasi's N-channel amp (in the Power Amp Under Development thread) should fit the bill perfectly! Why look further, when you have the man himself to help?
