Hello, first post, great looking board... now on to the question.
I've got an old CS800 (pre windtunnel), one side is working fine... the other has quit. Clipping light comes on with the slightest input, you can hear sound for just a moment then cuts to nothing. Where to look first? I searched and read about bad output transistors and clamping triac, but not sure what my symptoms indicate. Any tests I can perform? I currently dont have access to an O-scope, and I'm not an EE (ME actually), but I pretty good with electronics in general. Just tryin to keep my kids band up and running, any help would be great. TIA Gary |
