Any ideas what to do with 8 mtp36n06v 's and an old marantz transformer from the 22xxb line of recievers that has +/- 53 volt(retified dc already) outputs?

The transistors are not particularly useful for much of anything. That's fine though, the transistors are one of the lowest cost things in an amplifier. Put them on the shelf.
The transformer is quite nice. Depending on the toplolgy of the output stage you choose, it should drive between 60W~100W per channel at 8 ohms. |
