Hello,
What is the difference between 2SK170BL, 2SK170GR and 2SK170V? You can find them here: http://www.borbelyaudio.com/pics/Compprice.pdf Not very cheap. I live in Sweden, they are sometimes slightly cheaper here and can be found at various places. At Elfa, the largest supplier here, 100 pieces of 2SK170GR (Toshiba) are about 41 € + shipping. I will be needing some myself. Can buy some extra and send them to you if you are interested.

The suffix GR, BL and V are the different Idss of the jfet, and is very important for the different use that you made.
If use in signal preamplifier of small signal o driver, o out of small amplifier ( type OA with discrete device).
I know Borbely, but I think that Elfa is good price and I try to buy from there.
Other important question is that is in Europe and isn’t import tax.

If you send me the schema I control it and indicate the correct type, I think the GR type.

It is not tested. A friend is trying to analize the circuit. Input is about 8 mV at maximum. Maybe the gain is to high. A total gain of 50-100 with the SSM2142 (which has a gain of 2), would suit fine.

As the 2SK170GR are the only ones to be found, maybe there is no choice at all.
