Excuse me for delay but the time is always few. I open the MC pre telinga and by examine it is :
From left to right, only the first jfet amplifier, the up id load active ( current generator ), the third is a buffer and adapter the load but no amplifier ( is gain is 1). Now all is only two stage active in cascade, I think ( if SSM2142 gain 2) all gain 20/30 , if necessity of more gain is necessary change circuit o plus one stage active. The type of 2SK170 correct is GR small current of Idss. I hope useful for you. Regards g.pietro |

That micamp has come a bit further: http://www.ruschkowski.se/tmp/Audio/...%20REV%20A.jpg
Simulated gain is 28 dB and the distorsion is also on the low side. The circuit will need some matched 2SK170. Borbely Audio is a good source. Roger Gustavsson |

The schema is o.k and don’t have problem, but the total gain isn’t 80/100 about is 20/30.
If is sufficient for you? Regards gp |

A simulation by a friend, gave a gain of 25. That is with an Idss of 10 mA. How much difference would an Idss of 15 or 20 mA give? You can also buy 2SK170 from www.reichelt.de or www.schuro.de . Roger |

I think that the simulation is correct, I say that the total gain , is only two stage, is 10/15
The first is a common source and usually gain 10/15, the second is e operational amplifier and, I don’t know the connection, you say that gain 2 ; the total is the product. Now I know the http://www.schuro.de I write four time in English, for order about 100 euro of device…………….. nothing answer; I write three time in German ( a friend help me because I don’t know the language) , and I wait two week the answer…………. Nothing. Eureka I buy some device to ELFA , and wait the package, but is necessary no order more 50 euro o expedition in expensive ( 45 €). Expedition with post, minus 50 euro, cost only 12 euro…… acceptable. Regards. Giampietro |
