Where is located this transistor?
In audio section or in tuner section? 2SC556 is a RF transistor 800 MHz FT. The substitute showed by singa are correct for RF microwave transistors, but my suspect is also a bad read (BC556?) Another substitute : 2N3253 2N3725 Bye |

I also suspect a bad read, on bc556 is often printed only "c556", easily creating confusion.
