Anyone with experience in using these amps or at least running comparisons amongst some/all of them?
I currently use a 3886 with a snubberised PS and it gioves pretty good results. Recently heard a ncc-200 based amp (DC coupled) and it sounded pretty good.

Any views?

Thanks
Ryan

Hi Ryan, I've got a Mauro rev.C and the SKA gb150. I like them both.

The rev.C is sharp and tightly focused, a little brighter, and seemingly more extended up top. The SKA is weightier, has far greater scale, better soundstaging, and simply sounds a more mature, expensive amp. It's a real high end contender. I haven't used the rev.C for a long time.

Both of my amps use a single 300va trafo each at present, and I'm sure both would benefit from better PSs.

There is a guy here (Dave?) who replaced NCC200s with an SKA. I think he thought the SKA a bit better, but don't quote me on that.
