I agree with ilimzn:

A simple calculation will show that the maximum possible power delivered to the load is:

V_peak*V_peak / R_load = P_max

==> 115*115 / 4 = 3306.25 watts for peak power in to a 4 ohm load

I have NO idea where the 20,000W claim comes from.

He has what appears to be a nifty rail switching controller, but regardless of whether the amplifier runs in Class AB, B, G, or H, the theoretical absolute maximum power is given by the above formula. The only way to increase the max power is to either have a smaller load (like a 1 ohm speaker, which yields 13225W_peak according to the same formula), or increase the rail voltages.

hi Tony

kumusta

its been long

better for u

you are in another world. yet proud to be pinoy:)

yes I hope one of these days I could post some pics of my projects.

tony, actually what am i obsessed for this time is building a

class H or a class G power amp, well class G is bit closer

to me since I have enough inventory of BJT's rather than Hextfet Mosfets in class H amps yet still have the thinking of building one.

hope also that you have some schemes for references since
I still have to learn more about Switching in class G and class H
power amps..
;)

more power,
