Sept 06 audioXpress hybrid amp

Anyone have comments about the tube hybrid amp in the September 06 issue of audioXpress? It looks like another variation of the JLH design. www.bdent.com carries most of the parts and the PCB looks simple enough. I'm a tube guy but would like to give silicon a try, maybe use an op-amp driver instead of tubes.

It sure takes a lot longer to get the magazine here in Canada. I just got the August issue a couple of weeks ago.

whats up, this is john, umm has anyone actually had a listen
to this amplifier, umm i love audioxpress, lots of its
project is true high-end gear.

Hi astouffer,
I R a mod ( one of many).

To the best of my knowledge, there is no reason to delete an image. That and we will leave a notification if that does occur. There are no surprises.

Doh, guess I should have paid more attention to anatech's icon. I'll scan a part of the article this evening when I get home. My reason for hesitating is because some people get uptight about their work being posted.
