hai friends i am srinivas from india
yester day i aquired a marantz pm 75 vintage amp, i connected my cdplayer(SONY CDP 307ESD)(SPEAKERS ARE B&W DM 320) to its analogue connectins and the sound quality is excellent than my present latest amps(HK &SONY) I was a bit surprised whether the vintage gear is excellent in all respects? and i found its THD IS 0.008%.any comments reg marantz pm 75 It is only stereo amp with three coaxial and one optical outputs. i connected my cdplayer coaxial to its coaxial input but Ididnt got sound? any suggetions what may be the probable cause? wheter it is worthwile for commercial repair? It was written as D/A converter they using are PHILIPS TDA1541A? whether this da converter is highly regarded one? any idea? where i can get its user manual. thanks srinivas |
