Im gonna buy a power amp from ebay and it claims it does 200 watts rms at 8 ohms with fr of 10hz - 50khz -1,.....ok its got the needed inputs that I need and it has 2 seperate volumes, (left and and right I assume) but i have questions
Can I directly plug in my speakers like a normal amp as it is an amp? What does a stereo preamp do? ( I know it goes before main power amp to raise the signal, but is there a need for one, tell me all the advantages pls) and do I need one? |

Hi, you can hook up your speakers like any power or amplifier. All you need is a preamp or amplifier with preamp out. Since there's volume control, you can hook up your cd player or any sources directly in the input of your power amplifier. BTW , what kind of power amp.
