I purchased the older version of this amp the P300D a few months ago for $300! I thought it was a steal as the P300D has separate XFMR and power supply for each channel. The P300D has no fan and is convection cooled. I will replace the stock capacitor bank as it is too small and there is plenty room for larger caps.

I don't know if the circuitry is similar between the two but the P300 is very clean sounding. Very robust build quality inside but I have not yet looked at the schematic.

It is the heaviest amp I have ever lifted.
