removing a channel from an amp
2 Attachment(s)
Hello, I have a traynor beta 800 amplifier that has an a and b inputs and outputs.
I plugged it in when I got it, on one board a cap blew and a resistor was fried.

I am using this amp to amplify a bass guitar

Heres the million dollar question:
Can I take one of the boards out and just use one channel?

Tried taking the A input and connect to the board and blew fuses.

Is this possible to take out one of the boards and just use the other.

Could you just remove the fuses for the blown side? Only one concern, that the supply rails may be a little high with only one channel (probably okay, though best to check).
