Have a buddy who want's me to give his a going over, and is supposed to send me the schematic beforehand so I may look it over.
Was wondering if anyone here might have some insight into the amp? Bipolar output? Transformer coupled or DC? Anything that is 'interesting' or 'unusual' to take a look at? Known issues? I do know that it is huge...and heavy. Likely one reason I'm not entirely thrilled with the idea of fooling with it. But, I appreciate fine amps even if it takes the whole fam-damily to lift it and get it in the house. |

If this belongs in the 'Pass Labs' forum, then perhaps a mod might like to move it? I did not know this was one of Nelson's amps.

If you can lift it over your head, it's yours.

The classic designs of NP seem to be so popular still that Threshold has re-invented the S/350e, the smaller Stasis brother of the S/550e.
Made in China, and retailing for $2K. |
