Jim Bryant from ADI has a few tips in the June 22nd issue of EDN, it's kind of a plug for ADI, but quick and useful:
1) Use high speed, rather than high precision opamps -- high precision opamps run out of gain too quickly. 2) Don't try to save money by using large resistors in the network -- the offset voltage and noise cause performance to deteriorate. 3) Current feedback amps like to oscillate when used in audio filters. the article can be found here: http://www.analog.com/analog_root/st...veFilters.html |
